The lights generally work as expected. I use them when cycling at night. I used to buy a similar flashlight elsewhere and lost it after 6-7 months of use. That particular brand didn't work for me either. On first use they stayed on my shoes most of the time. They tend to fall off my shoes or get lost when I'm actively pedaling. I was coming home from a 6-7 mile drive last night and noticed that one of the red trim covering the power button had fallen off without realizing it. The other also relaxed, but managed to stay. It's no big deal if you can keep them on the heel. Just be careful that quality control can't beat the relatively low price they cost.
