Our boy is 4.5 months old and weighs almost 5 pounds. We went with the S, but I think he might pick up the XS for another month. The quality is very good, the long arms don't get dirty and it looks very cute. Put it on him and he curls up to take a nap in it. Very happy with this purchase and will buy more.
