I'm so glad I took the risk and bought this Surface Pro 3. My MacBook Pro started failing after 7 years of being loyal to it. I was determined to purchase another Apple product before I started researching. After hours of research and several trips to buy later, I settled on the Surface Pro 3. I didn't need a full-fledged computer because I had just graduated from law school. So my primary need for a computer was to watch Netflix, take notes, do research, and surf the web. I couldn't bring myself to pay another $1,500 for a MacBook just to get it done. However, I wanted a device that was more than just a tablet, so I didn't go for the iPad Pro. I love the iPad, but really they're just big phones. So, after two years, the tablet is becoming progressively slower because the new software update cannot be processed. (I have an iPad 2 and it's very slow.) I wanted full access to the computer, but the ease and ease of use of a tablet - enter the Surface Pro 3 not much different - especially for the tasks I wanted to get done . After setting up my Surface Pro 3, I fell in love immediately. I was so nervous when I first bought from Revain because the finish experts said most Pro 3's you find online are refurbished or used. But I'm telling you, it was brand new. No scratches or dents on it. I decided to upgrade the pen and keyboard to the Surface Pro 4 keyboard and pen because those were the biggest improvements between 3 and 4. I'm so glad I did this. Although this one comes with a 3 pen, 4 is a definite improvement. This is a steal for the all-new Surface Pro 3. If you're in doubt like I am, don't. This seller gives you exactly what you expect - a brand new, fully functional Surface Pro 3. The only thing that bothers me about this computer are two things: (1) it wasn't charging at all when I received it; so I had to wait a bit for the computer to charge before it would turn on. and (2) Microsoft 10 was not loaded on the computer when I received it; However, you can update during computer setup. While both of those things were annoying at first, I didn't change my mind about how awesome I thought Surface and this company had given me this computer. For such a low price, I'm willing to take the extra time to charge my computer and upgrade to Windows 10. For people looking to switch to Windows from Apple, I'll say it takes a bit of getting used to, but Microsoft has made a great app that helps tips on how to use the Surface. Also, their website is a great resource for finding out how to switch from Apple to Windows - they have a real page that gives you information about switching from Apple to Windows.
