Review on Woodronic 17 Folding Classic Board Game Backgammon Set - Walnut Mahogany Case, Best Strategy & Tactics Smart Game by Carlos Melendez

We ordered this in the 19" tournament size, in the color Light Brown. Many things we liked about this set, few we didn't.* Item arrived well packaged; this backgammon set arrived enclosed in a velvet bag inside its own box which was then placed inside a shipping box.* Wooden case itself is beautiful with smooth sides, I'm not worried about splinters. Magnets help keep the case closed. The case we received doesn't sit completely flush when closed though, see pictures.* 17 wooden checkers of each color (17 brown & 17 white) are included, when only 15 are needed to play. Checkers are wood so they are not all uniform in size. Some are slightly taller, also the round/circle shapes are not perfect, but they work as intended. The checkers are well lacquered on the bottoms and sides; however, the tops are not--tops are rough and unfinished. The 2 extra checker pieces of each color do not fit in the provided storage compartments. I wish they did because now they will need to be stored elsewhere or be floating around in the case (they cannot be stored with the dice in the dice compartment either or lid will not close due to wooden branding on other side).Hopefully this information helps with your purchasing decision.
