They close with a zipper and perfectly protect the steering wheel. You may have to fiddle with it a bit to make sure the zippers are positioned where you want them. I put zippers on our 2015 Vista. I like that they cover the steering wheel well and that I could take them off and wash them if I felt like it. They also feel comfortable and have a good grip.
