I bought these scissors based on other people's positive reviews. However, in my own experience, they aren't as sharp on the last inch and a half of the blade. Another old couple of mine came with electric clippers. And while they looked cheap, they were extremely sharp and easy to manoeuvre. Some reviews said they were really spicy. This was not my experience. While they were sharp, they just didn't seem any sharper than any other economic scissors. If you want to make spikes with scissor tips, they're not that convenient. I need to use more medium blades or closer to the base which is inconvenient. They have such small finger holes that I found it a little uncomfortable. The base of the blades works well, but the tips don't feel as sharp towards the end. However, they worked quite well and I was able to have my husband's hair done and my own hair, although again this pair has something not very fancy. Otherwise I would have given five stars.
