Review on Gladiator GAWUXXBLTH Ball Caddy by Jack Malloy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great way to store children's stuff in the garage.

Free sports equipment can be easily stowed away and looks good at the same time. The Ball Caddy is well built and takes only a few minutes to set up. There is a metal frame on the front/top to keep its shape and a rigid plate on the bottom to prevent sagging. The two front slots have 4 elastic bands that attach to the metal frame at the top and bottom in the front. This will prevent balls larger than the hole from falling out. Two slots in the front give you more flexibility to mount the ball basket higher if you need to stow something underneath. It's cheaper to buy shelf sections from Lowes at ten dollars a 4-foot strip than to order from Revain. Lowes will also cut FREE if you need shorter sections to complete your install. The only tools I needed were a stud finder, tape measure, stepladder (if the track needs to go up), spirit level/spirit level, pen, Phillips drill, studs and a friend to help me cut the tracks keep. . Once you've found the studs and measured the placement; the installation is pretty quick. The rails are thick, strong, very well built and may require additional holes to be drilled if you need to move to a different location. I would recommend buying aftermarket stand-off screws as gladiator screws are a little soft and can tear the screw head into a hole with a drill bit if you pull the trigger hard.
