I have a width of 7.5 but usually order 8 in regular shoes. Surprisingly this shoe is wide enough for me so the forefoot is a bit wide. For my purpose it doesn't matter as I use them in the pool for walking on water. They fit snugly around my foot so I can walk very confidently without slipping. Elastic lace buckle with quick on and off makes them quick to put on and take off. I am very happy with them. My only reservations or if the insole will hold up. With every pool shoe I've had, the insole has fallen out because the glue didn't hold after several dips in the pool. Only time will tell if these shoes will last. But so far they work well and are very comfortable.
