I've been wanting to buy a tank printer for a long time but I didn't like the price of the Eco Tank E branded bells and whistles either. I just want a basic working printer/scanner, I don't need all that Bluetooth wireless nonsense. That fits the bill. I partially filled the black ink tank and left the colors blank as all I need is a simple print and I don't want the ink drying on the head and causing problems. It comes with all colors and extra black ink (3 bottles GOOD!). Plug it in, let it do its job, plug in the USB (NOT INCLUDED) and was able to print about 10-15 minutes after opening the box, adjusting the inks and heads, and doing the initial printer setup. Buy a USB-B printer cable. The paper feeds from the back, which I don't like since my desk has a printer slot. My old printer had a paper drawer that popped out front to bottom so this worked for setup. It also doesn't hold many sheets of paper, but I can overcome these 2 design flaws if it works well and doesn't require much maintenance. I hope for many years of service, but I doubt it. All of these things are plastic and seem designed to break after a few years of use. My old one broke for no reason, wasn't used and then tried to use it and it didn't feed properly. No luck fixing it either.
