Review on Carhartt Black Barley Large Men's Gloves: Superior Accessories for Warmth and Protection by Darrell Sharp

I've always heard Carhartt is a good brand and never bought them until I decided I'd better get gloves for my night job at the department store. Lots of freezers, cardboard etc - my hands stayed dry and sometimes with light cuts, routine things for this type of work. I got them for the good contact grips on my fingers, I think it's leather. However, this morning before I stepped out of line, I noticed a breeze on my left hand and just between the middle and ring finger there is a noticeable half inch tear in the glove that is likely to only get worse. There wasn't even a heavy workload today. To say I'm a little disappointed with how well the product has held up. Very comfortable, not exactly warm, but not what you would buy these types of gloves for (but it's a lot better than bare hands in a 0 degree freezer). But overall 2 stars due to sharing at the beginning of their use.
