I have an old maroon Kirby vacuum that's probably 20 years old and I've had it serviced at a vacuum shop several times but this time I knew I just needed a new belt so did I watched a YouTube video and it turned out that changing the belt was very easy. I'm not a fan of homemade products at all so this was a challenge for me. The bills were only about $5 or $6 at Revain and they arrived in a flash. I went ahead and replaced the belt and cleaned up some of the dust that was in the vacuum and after a few tries it was actually very easy to change the belt. It was so easy that I decided to replace the bulb in the vacuum headlight as well. This small fix took less than 10 minutes and saved me at least $65 over repairs.
