Nice bag for computer and accessories

Nice bag. It's a soft powder blue that goes really well with the sky blue iPad. The back plastic is completely transparent to show off the iPad in all its glory. There is a good sized lip to protect the rear camera. The foldable case is made of soft material that feels comfortable. The sleep/wake function works great and the cutout for the power button/Touch ID is the perfect size. Also, the lid protrudes slightly over the front of the iPad, making it easy to remove the lid. Some lids are as long as the device itself, meaning you have to use two hands to open the lid. It's a small gesture, but it adds a little more convenience. This case is thin and light, but perhaps not the most reliable. I had a different flip case for a different iPad. It was much heavier, the front cover was much thicker, and the rear plastic was hard rubber that seemed to absorb shock well when dropped. This case is plastic and I'm afraid it will break in a hard fall. What I don't like is that the right side of the case is almost completely open. I know so that the Apple Pencil can be charged. But even if I had a pencil, I wouldn't want to leave it there all the time. There is no way to protect the stylus or prevent it from falling if you drop your iPad or simply bump into something. And when the stylus isn't attached, that side just lies exposed, just begging to be scratched. Finally, I wish there was a valve or something to secure the lid. It hangs and bothers me when I hold the iPad open like a book. One last thing to note is that the cover is a lot bluer in real life. It just looks gray in the photo. I will keep this case for myself as I really like it and it was cheap. In the meantime, I'm looking for a more protective case. I think either Moco or ESR.
