Very attractive white ceiling fan from Hunter. We have had several Hunter ceiling fans in different houses and they have all been quiet for years. It's a 4-blade fan - we used to have 5-blade fans. We installed this fan outside on a 12 foot porch ceiling so we grabbed a 12 inch extension cord from a local big box to complete the job. Since my husband is very familiar with installing ceiling fans, it only took an hour to get it out of the box. , Assemble and install wings. Don't know if I have to mention that the ceiling was already connected to the fan. We took our time installing it, so it probably took longer than it actually takes to install. You definitely want to make sure the blades are balanced The price is comparable to the big stores The fan is very quiet.
