First of all I like this product. I just finished setting it up and couldn't be happier. This allowed me to set up a charging station for my Dyson V7 without having to cut holes in the walls, and also provided handy storage for all my accessories! I took a second to read some of the reviews before purchasing. Many reviews indicated that they were missing hardware or that the hardware that came with them was of poor quality. Technically these reviews weren't that far off the mark BUT I'm pretty sure there would be fewer complaints about the product if the instructions were clearer. So the main reason for the confusion is in the instructions. There are screws with the letters "D” and "F”. You will get six "F" screws and four "D" screws. The instructions show how to fit eight "D" screws between the base and center and two "F" screws to attach the Dyson wall mount to the top. The six "F" screws come with six washers, while the four "D" screws use no washers.TLDR; The correct way to assemble this stand is to use the four "F" screws and four nuts in the base. Use four smaller "D" screws WITHOUT nuts in the center joint of the two metal brackets. Finally, attach the Dyson wall mount to the top using the remaining two 'F' screws and two nuts. **NOTE 1**. I recommend using a better wrench (or socket/pliers) than the ones they supply. If you overtighten the nuts they will MUSH so be careful and stop as soon as you feel they are tight enough or when they start to round out on you. See Photo 7 for an explanation. This isn't necessary, but I may buy new nuts in the future. I have been keeping this mount for over 2 years. **NOTE 2** Make sure the portion of the brackets with recessed screw heads is on the outside so the screw can be hidden inside the bracket. See photo 2. **NOTE 3** Dyson V6 and V7 use the 2nd and 4th top mounting holes. Dyson V8 and V10 use 1st and 3rd top mounting holes. See photo 4.
