Don't panic, it will fit!
In summary, the thing works very well. I accidentally left my original Apple TV plug somewhere and needed a replacement. The price for this is great. It arrived very quickly. When I tried to connect it to the device, it was a bit inconvenient. I had to keep shifting things around to fit the round part of the connector - it seemed a bit wide for the holes in the Apple TV box. After playing around with it for about a minute, I managed to plug it in. It works just fine!
