Review on 📸 Digital Foci Memory Card Gateway: USB 2.0 Multi-format Memory Card Reader (Gray) - Enhanced Data Transfer & Compatibility by Matt Weber

I shoot with Olympus cameras and bought these on purpose because Revain says they support Compact Flash and XD. My 8GB Sandisk Extreme IV card works fine with it. On the other hand, my 1GB Olympus XD card is not recognized at all. I am using the latest iMac Reader with OSX 10.5 (Leopard). Switching between the two cards seems to confuse the reader, so the CF card isn't always recognized after I try to read the XD card. I need to disable the reader to restart it and read the CF card. Overall I would say this is a faulty and unreliable product. Since it doesn't read my wife's XD card, it's a useless piece of junk and a waste of money from what I understand. I have yet to buy a reader and I'm hoping that it really is if the description says it reads XD and CF.
