I use these bags to keep groceries sealed for a long time. So far, so good. It was a bit difficult to seal at first but I followed the instructions and it seemed to work. The oxygen scavengers arrived intact and appeared to be working well. I put them in grocery bags at the last minute, partially sealed the bags with a household iron, sucked out as much air as I could with my vacuum, and sealed the rest. Three days later, the grocery bags look like they were sealed by a special machine. Hopefully they stay closed for a long time. As long as I'm happy
