Review on BlindsAvenue Cellular Honeycomb Cordless Shade, 9/16" Single Cell, Blackout, Anthracite, Size: 18" W X 48" H by Michael Nastanovich

Hi Everyone,I have installed eight of these blinds all different sizes and colors over the last month.The units have been made and cut accurately. Size and color as ordered. The units are light weight and springy vertically. Easy to open and close. The dark shades block the light well and stay cool. The other filter style lets half the light in as expected and is fully opaque.The mounting hardware system is the best I have ever installed! Very easy to install inside wooden frame windows just one screw per bracket and then clip the shade top rail to the brackets with a bit of a squeeze. Plus, they can be easily unclipped to remove the blind.One little quirk if you are picky is they are light and springy and sometimes don't hang perfectly straight across the bottom and one must make minor adjustment when opening to leave the bottom rail perfectly level. I am talking about say 1/4' out of level etc. Yes, I am being picky and have a good eye :). Furthermore it is a tiny bit difficult to pull the bottom down to perfectly closed when mounted inside the window frame. Perhaps a piece of heavy 1/4" steel rod or something inside the bottom rail would help them hang better?12/2021 Update: Now I have to add that the blind goes up fine for about 30 percent of the height, then, it gets harder to move the blind up. It stacks up and folds over and this and that. One can corral it upward with effort but not like it should be. I have had others that move up better.Furthermore, as previously mentioned, it is difficult to get the bottom level. Some blinds appear to have the vert cord several inches off center like cut from larger blind? Not sure why. Others work better.I still like them for the price and mounting, in a spot where the blind is normally closed or not used up and down much.:)
