Silicon changed the rules of the game. No more worrying about scratching a pan (especially Teflon) or melting plastic utensils. I've been using them for the past few months. My favorites are "cake scraper" style spatulas and tongs. Although I have used all of the items in this set, these are the 2 that I use the most and use 90% of the time. The thin rim in space makes it ideal for getting under food and great for scraping sauce and garlic off the rim of the pan. The tweezers are really good with perfect tension. My old tweezers were narrow and difficult to close, resulting in hand cramps when using them. With these silicone tongs, I can easily use them for long cooking marathons. I combine them together with a silicone dish rack/pipette. (I have one from Zulay) Closed and locked pliers are perfect for gaps between gaps in the rest.
