simply make sure that the lamp/light bulb cable has a ring around the lamp frame to keep the lampshade and the light bulb on the spot. It was crumpled by a small flat box, but I took my little clothes steamer and all folds in the cord were immediately smoothed. If you don't have a clothing steamer, hang you somewhere in the bathroom while taking a nice hot shower, and the steam in the tub helps to smooth the macrame. So cute in my bedroom on the coast. I installed a low-power LED light bulb with remote control. Great. Very happy. Excellent craftsmanship.
