I recently got my hands on the Carbon Fiber Air Vent Accents for my 2018 Mustang. While they definitely add a sleek, sporty look to the interior, I have a few reservations. Firstly, installation was a bit of a pain. The adhesive tape wasn't strong enough to hold the accents for more than a few days, so I had to invest in stronger tape. Not a deal breaker, but definitely an inconvenience. Secondly, the accents don't fit perfectly flush with the air vents. It's a minor detail, but for the price point, I was expecting a more precise fit. Lastly, while I appreciate the carbon fiber material for its durability and weight reduction, I'm not sure it's worth the price. You can find similar plastic accents for a fraction of the cost. Overall, the Carbon Fiber Air Vent Accents are a decent addition to any Mustang interior. However, the installation process and fit issues leave something to be desired. If you're a carbon fiber enthusiast with money to burn, go for it. Otherwise, consider a more budget-friendly option or DIY solution.
