February 17, 2021. GS 316.Direct input timer I really like this timer. Direct display. Big Numbers. Two AAA batteries. I use Engizer Max alkaline. Silent timer. Does not beep when setting the time. :) None of the keys make a tick tock or click. :) The stand unfolds with a feeling of being blocked, but no sound. When the countdown timer reaches zero, it will start counting down with a flashing red light. After one minute, the red indicator will stop flashing, but the countdown will continue. By pressing the stop button, the set time is displayed and can be used again. When setting the countdown time, the numbers flash, which is unusual compared to other timers in my area. Cons - The weak point is the battery cover. :(The two small tabs on one edge of the lid fit into two slots on the back of the unit, but the two smaller tabs on the opposite edge snap into the other two slots. from many other timers and alarms I have. It feels like the battery cover will pop out if the device falls to the ground. :(James "Jay" Hind.
