It is actually sterling silver!
I have been wearing this kitty necklace for over 6 months (24/7) and was blown away that it is genuine SS. No greening on my neck and still shiny on the back where it was on my neck, NO wear or tarnishing, the chain is real SS too and doesn't tangle in my hair every 10 minutes.
