I have lilac flower color option in this diamond painting pen. I thought purple had a holographic glow, but purple is actually a swirling light blue and this gives the impression of a holographic image in photographs. The design is said to be unique. The pen I received is half blue half purple. Purple and blue have a metallic hue. The paint shouldn't chip, it's not a coating, it's a swirling resin. The shape of the pen is really more convenient than the standard pink tube that comes with almost every diamond painting kit. I can use this pen for more than two hours and my hand doesn't cramp or hurt at all. The kit includes 1x4, 1x7 and 1x10 drills. There is a drilling rectifier 1x13. The 1x1 metal tip is detachable, you just need to pry it off as it fits tighter than others. Both sides of the pin can accept drill bits.
