The Sony headset does not have a wired connection, but it does operate with a curling iron. Those Asians, oh my! With advantages: Excellent headphones—the sound quality is excellent even without taking into account the fact that this is a headset. A benefit over the Sony headset is the fabric earpads. (In the heat, skin and ears perspire.) Although composed of plastic, the headband is quite well crafted. The microphone folds up nicely and hardly stands out. Inserted within the joystick is a fantastic mechanism. Quickly modify the priority of game or chat audio. (Sony has it on the headphones themselves, but it takes a long time to look among the same buttons and you have to shoot it). Cons of it: A short wire, but it's not important if you play while seated. It is unfortunate that the design cannot be folded. It would make transportation a lot easier. But once more, rivals have used such a technique for two years.
