Works well as a clothes moth trap. Some people don't seem to pick up anything, which may indicate they don't have clothes moths. The attached image shows the result of two months of use at three different locations, some of which have changed over and over again. They ate my wool rug (up to this point I forgot it was wool) and I sprayed the area after cleaning the rug. I later set these traps and found myself catching them in places I hadn't bombed. The company states in its information that it should be used as an indicator of areas and extent of infestation and as a partial defense by capturing males before further breeding. If they have already mated, this only slightly corrects the situation. I have however caught many in warm weather and am waiting to see if the cold weather brings some relief. These moths can spawn outside as my toughest spots are near front doors. I used these three at the same time. Now that I have 6 sets of hangers, I'm planning to buy spares and try 6 at once, hoping the moths will go away completely by winter (but I'm not holding my breath).
