Review on Sensitive Boiled Changing Indicator Yellow by Susan Lautner

Bought because they look charming! I was very excited to use them. I used the other kind (red) for a couple of years before it fell down and cracked. I was very disappointed to find that it was impossible to see any contrast between the different degrees of hardness. In other words, even when I took it out of the pan to read it in the light, I couldn't tell if my eggs were SOFT, MEDIUM, or HARD. I had to return it and buy another one that works fine. I see other reviews on here from people who are very happy with it and I really don't leave negative reviews. So if someone could show me a picture showing that there really is a color difference when the eggs are cooked, I'm willing to change my mind and I'll admit that I might not know how to use it (but how is it possible? You just have to dip it in water and wait!) or how to read it. Maybe all the devices I received (there are 3 pieces) were defective?
