I love this tray - it's so cute and easy to use, but the silicone makes my ice cubes taste like chemicals. I washed the tray really well when I first got it and washed it every time before refilling it and it still makes my drinks taste disgusting. Seems like people are recommending soaking in vinegar or baking in the oven to try and kill the smell/taste. So I guess there's no harm in giving both a chance before maybe destroying it. Super disappointing. I bought this to have smoothie ice cream, but there's no way I'm drinking these nasty cubes whole! Instead, I've only used them for cold drinks that I'm trying to drink before the ice melts too much into what I'm drinking and it's going to taste awful. 🤢
