We installed these in our bathroom window in our apartment. Light comes through but no one can see it. We considered putting a sticky window covering in there, but I was afraid I'd never put it on evenly. This is very easy. It comes with a knife that you need to trim and you just wet it and put it on and then wipe away the bubbles. It's been running for over two weeks now and it still doesn't work. It's enough on one roll, we could easily make another if we need to if it comes loose. All in all I think this is a very good solution. You don't need to have any special skills to make it look good and I'm very happy with the results.
