Disappointed in cleaning the house

Very disappointed. I ordered 2 glasses as I have several copper pots. I received the product as shown in my picture. The jar is large, when I took out the sponge the product was less than half the jar. After applying the product with a sponge as directed nothing happened so I tried scrubbing a bit but nothing happened. Even if it stays for a while. Haven't deleted anything! Didn't bother trying it on any of the other pots. Not sure why they use a large jar as the product I received would fit in a jar half the size with a sponge.
