They're good for everything, not just tying cord. I have them for things like attaching a bluetooth speaker to my son's bike, tidying up excess rope, tying together a coiled extension cord, tying a tomato plant to a PVC pipe to hold it, the possibilities are endless. a bit difficult to slide through the hole but that's good because it just means they won't open on their own. I had a click when I pulled it out so you just have to be careful not to stretch them too much. If I need more I will definitely come back!
