Review on 💿 Fantom Drives 1TB PS4 SSHD (Solid State Hybrid Drive) Upgrade Kit - Seagate FireCuda - Compatible with PlayStation 4, PS4 Slim, and PS4 Pro by Carl Durant

My PS4 Pro gave me a blue light known worldwide as TBLoD's Blue Light of Death. An error message appeared, specifically "Disk not found". When researching TBLoD on YouTube, it turned out that MANY factors could be responsible. Based on the error message I received, I decided to replace the hard drive. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU WATCH THESE VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE TO FIND OUT WHAT CAN CAUSE TBLoD ON YOUR PS4 (Slim/Pro). So: * The installation is very easy. Sony has been really successful in allowing customers to easily swap out the hard drive.* The hard drive itself is thinner than the one I removed from my PS4 Pro, but thanks to the screws that need to be held in its case, this wasn't an issue. Everything you need. * Everything you need is there, even a USB flash drive to download the PS4 update file. * The box was sealed so I was sure it was brand new. * PS4 is currently running smoothly. ) in terms of performance: * Although the seller states that this hard drive is 7200 rpm, this is not stated on the box or on the hard drive itself. The one I removed showed 5400 rpm. *The date on the hard drive is November 2019. Judging by that date stamp one can assume it is indeed current, and in fact it is 7200 rpm.* I've noticed significant download speeds when this option is enabled. * I mainly play COD Warzone and the graphics on my 4K TV are amazing. There are no performance issues other than occasional internet lag. * From time to time I get the error "LAN cable disconnected" which kicks me out of the online game. I can't attribute this issue to HD as it's been a year since installing it and I'm only now getting this error. PS Since I'm not versed in hardware upgrades, I bought an SSD/HHD upgrade kit, which is what I did. not needed and ended up paying another $10. If you want to REPLACE your PS4's memory bank rather than expand it, buy the cheapest kit. The most expensive is for PC users as this kit comes with a case and connection cables NOT needed for PS4 Pro. PPS I have updated this review after a year of purchase.
