Review on Optimized for SEO: Osprey Farpoint 70 Men's Travel Backpack by Dana Schmidt

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great bag but not much more room than 55

Bought with 55 a few weeks ago. If you are having trouble deciding between the two and can get this for around the same price as a 55 I would suggest going with this as it has a slightly larger capacity but as some reviewers have already done on Revain and others places have pointed out, you really have to look for 15 liters more. All in all this is a great bag! Looks good, weighs enough. It has zippers through which you can run a TSA-approved or similar lock. The backpack is great and has a handy laptop compartment that fits my 15 (plus) inch laptop comfortably. The backpack is also structured on the inside and is bright green in color, just like the inside of the main backpack. Especially for hostel stays I need such a combination bag so that I can easily stow my luggage in my main backpack. and lock it or leave it on or under my bed, but I can take my backpack with my laptop (macbook air, light for travel), camera, some food, etc. and don't have to worry about leaving valuables. It's great to have just one bag that you can take off planes, trains and cars, but still be able to use two bags with different functions at the same time upon arrival at your destination. The only reason I didn't keep it to myself. I always wanted something more, not because I needed more space for a 70 day trip across Europe, but because I needed more space to take things home as souvenirs or memories as this trip is my first trip. That might also be an exaggeration since an 80's piggy bank is MUCH larger than this bag. But having more travel space (for me) doesn't mean I pack more stuff, it just means I come back with more (simple souvenirs, which I thoroughly agree and look forward to. For the more seasoned traveler or dedicated minimalist, You can easily pack for as long a trip as you need - just wash your clothes and think of some packing cubes or a way to organize and/or compress your belongings and clothes. Take the Quasar Model 80 along, as I've got the Daylite Plus really didn't like it But I think the Model 70 is great and the quality of the Osprey speaks for itself so I don't need to improve on it here.
