I'm using this on Linux with X-Plane. I would also like to use it with FlightGear, but I'm not sure if it's compatible. X-Plane requires special drivers to work. Since it's basically just a dumb block of switches, except for the chassis lights, I wish it could be called a standard joystick full of switches. Chassis LEDs can then be a separate function/endpoint and supported by dedicated drivers. This greatly improves the usability of the product. In general, it does its job perfectly, but its setup is much more difficult than it should be due to the poor product architecture. For the price of 100€ it didn't live up to my expectations. My purpose of using this product is to practice general instrument procedures (checking switches in the right places) and to practice complex aircraft operations like retract and landing gear. Practicing with this product has greatly improved my skills in handling complex aircraft. It made me a safer pilot.
