I bought this sleepyhead because my hair irritates my face when I sleep (sleeping on my stomach) and so do I hear can help hold curls. It really helps my curls because my hair doesn't dry out overnight. They retain more moisture if I condition them well or use something like mixed chicks throughout the day. But I was surprised how much it helps my scalp. In winter I often had inflamed spots on the crown of my head, but no more. Also when I wake up my hair seems much cleaner and shinier. It may look a little flat on top, but it's easy to work with. Sleep comfortably. It's cold in my bedroom, so warmth is appreciated. Although I probably wouldn't have survived in the summer. I could just go with silk at this point.
