I've used this lunch bag for both hot and cold meals and it's always been great - fits two full adult meals, for me it's too much space for one meal. However, it REALLY shines as an underseat luggage for those who like to travel light. I packed everything I needed for a five day cruise with room for more. 5 changes of clothes, swimsuit, phone, charger, toiletries, makeup, hairbrush, barrettes and bobby pins and even some snacks - and I still had a good inch of room at the top of the bag, the zippers weren't stressed at all. On Frontier Airlines flights, it slipped easily under the seat in front of me and could be stowed under my seat in my power chair. Customs officers looked at me and kept asking if I had all my luggage with me when I got back to the States, apparently NOTHING but my passport as the lunch bag fitted under my seat so perfectly it couldn't be seen. Maybe it's not. the size of a large carry-on, but for what it is, it's basically a TARDIS, or portable storage bag. It fits so much - whether it's a luxurious picnic for two or a 5 day trip to the Caribbean. It's very well made, feels pretty solid and I love how easy it is to travel with.
