We bought two of these a year ago. We are retired and avid travellers. We have used them domestically and on five international trips during that time. (Make sure to pack any necessary adapters for use abroad!) Our latest technology is to pack just one 21-inch carry-on for each of us. (Plus a daypack to tuck under your seat.) and compact. The USB ports deliver enough power so we no longer bring manufacturer chargers. My Samsung Galaxy S8+ charges at least as fast as with the original charger. And the performance works just as well when I plug in my tablet and a third USB device. What really excited me was that I could also plug an extension cord into sockets under the seat on the plane. Instead of dangling the extension, I wedged it between the seat cushion. and my neighbor. It's fantastic when you arrive with fully charged batteries, even when I'm watching downloaded Netflix movies in flight. Of course they will work whether you use 110V or 220V (but make sure you use equipment rated for your local voltage! DO NOT change the voltage!)
