Review on Stanley FMHT33865S FATMAX Magnetic Tape by Orlando Mohr

As always, Stanley make a great tool. I had an old Stanley tape that was probably 25 years old and I let it rust a bit and also dropped some stuff on the ruler itself so it was time to replace it. Given how long these Stanley products last, I'm surprised they don't charge more. I really like how well this model allows you to stretch the band in the air without folding it. My old tape warped a little when I accidentally stretched it more than the weight would allow and it developed a crease. There are times when you only need to measure 10 feet or so and to be able to stand there and get an approximate size is amazing. The pen works great. I had some cheap tapes that you had to return in due course. So far this works well and I expect it will withstand my abuse for years to come. The magnet at the end of the tape was something new to me. Surprisingly I've found it useful on several occasions as it can be attached to a large nail or metal object and held quite well. I tried playing around with it a bit to see if it would accidentally come loose and I haven't had any problems with it so far. Overall this is a great roulette at a very reasonable price. Considering how well Stanley products usually work, they're an easy sell.
