I've been known to be cocky when I shop, buy lots of fruit and veg and end up either eating something different or having to buy more than I want because of the size of the package or release. I usually compost or throw away some food every week because it wilts/goes soggy or turns brown. My daughter recommended them years ago and I never thought I would need them. My god, what's the difference! Containers of vegetables (at least 2) fit in a large vegetable basket. Add a sheet of paper towel to the top and bottom and your veggies will stay fresh for up to 2 weeks! Cucumber, carrot, radish stay crisp (slightly dry but perfectly crisp) for the same amount of time (bell pepper is slightly smaller after cutting). Cherries for the week! They're not great for all types of foods (raspberries are too wet to start with, but blueberries are fine), but they're worth it. The only downside is that they take up a lot of space in the fridge. They can fit in clear boxes (or instead of clear boxes), that helps.
