BE SURE to insert the plastic hose connectors deep enough and fit the blue caps! The faucet and pressure tank require the included black washers with a hole in the middle. These two connections only seal when those rubber washers are tight, but not too tight! I suspect this is at the root of many/most leak complaints. CHECK YOUR WORK IN A FEW HOURS, then a few more hours, then the next morning, and check over several days. Then check it out after a week. Once these (and all) reverse osmosis units are pressurized, a leak can reveal things you wouldn't otherwise see. SO you MUST test it multiple times to be sure! This is good advice for all plumbing jobs, but especially for these reverse osmosis systems. I had compressed air and when I pulled out the first plug that keeps the whole device clean there was definitely either pressure or vacuum on it indicating everything was tight. But you need to install the membrane, sewage, filters, pipe and water. Any of these locations can leak, so you need to be vigilant. Not the best choice to just install it at grandma. Check back in half an hour when your tools are gone and the bill is done. You should go back and check it out a few times along the way to be sure.
