I cannot recommend this product enough if you are looking for a window sill for your kitty. This was actually the fourth window bar I've bought. Having tried (and quickly returned) three other suction cup window perches, the D.Jane Cat Window Perch is by far the best. None of the previous window bars stayed attached to the window for more than 20 seconds; some didn't stick at all. I first installed a D.Jane perch on our window about three months ago and have never had to readjust or reinstall it. I am absolutely sure that my cat will be safe there. She is absolutely obsessed with her perch and spends most of her day there. I am planning to buy a second one for another window in our apartment. The kit also includes double sided tape to attach to the suction cups for extra stability, but I haven't used them yet. This perch is perfect for those who have sliding windows, like in our apartment. "Regular" rectangular window bars are too big, render the window unusable until the bar is removed, and really just look ugly. This perch is the perfect size and allows you to use the window (as long as it's mounted on the correct window pane). The size and design makes this perch quite unique - I haven't found another window perch that is similar in size yet. This and the fact that it is very durable and well made makes me think the price is very reasonable. I found the bar to be fairly easy to assemble, but I've seen how there can be temporary confusion when connecting two pieces of metal. I cannot explain how highly I recommend this product. I rarely write reviews and have never recommended a product as often as D.Jane Cat Window Perch. The experience I had with the other 3 cat windows was nothing short of disappointment, a waste of time and disappointment in the end. I hope this review will save someone else from it.
