I have two of these timers for older children. You use them to complete tasks within the given time. They're easy to use, loud (but not too obnoxious) and have a kickstand. They are also used in the bathroom, so you can only take a quick shower and brush your teeth for a full 2 minutes. They have withstood steam and humidity in the bathroom well. The clock function comes in handy for you to check the time while doing schoolwork.
