Review on ๐Ÿ”ด Anker 3.5mm Nylon Braided Auxiliary Audio Cable (4ft / 1.2m) - Red by Flex Graham

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It doesn't get better at any price.

These cords hit the right note. Attractive, extremely flexible and durable with reinforced micro connectors at each end. Pleases. I recommend you buy it. However, what worries me is the endless stream of people who talk like experts and don't really know much about the product or category. This product is a great example; People who claim to be able to objectively judge the sound quality of one brand of braided wire versus another are stupid. Unfortunately, many people with "deeply insightful" ratings claim special skills, such as claiming they have a gift and would share their views with you if you just follow their friend page. The quality of the braided wire in this product (or any properly braided wire) surrounded by a strong but flexible sheath (any strong, flexible sheath) ensures that any notes entering the cable at one end will remain safe , exit at the other end. Aside from mechanically generated noise, such as static from broken braided wires, the human ear simply lacks the sensitivity to detect minute changes in frequency without a studio jam-packed with modern equipment. In fact, medical science defines the range of normal human hearing, or the "cortex scale," as 24 bands spanning from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Each band has a midpoint with an average range of plus or minus 416 Hz. Variations in any given range are further complicated by the fact that absolute changes are radically different percentage changes when viewed in length across the spectrum. For example, a 10Hz change across the spectrum has no discernible effect that a person can hear at the higher end of the spectrum, eg: +/-10Hz divided by 18kHz = 0.005%. However, at the low end of the range, heavy bass that a human can definitely hear, +/-10 Hz means a change of more than 16%. No, you'll hear a change in the low end (which is why there are so many bass-boosted headphones). But at mid and high frequencies, the difference between one brand's soundstage and another has no mathematical or sonic meaning. So next time you read a review that says the brand X was better by 10Hz in the midrange, be aware of that. We're back to our actual difference - 20 divided by 18,000 - and their hearing must be better than any living thing on this planet. . .No
