Vent clip broken after 6 months of normal use

The bowl holds the Magsafe charger perfectly and the overall look of the vent is smooth and neat but the part that attaches to the vent itself has not been raised. The teeth are metal with a rubber coating that has chipped and peeled off after normal use (I don't lift or take off the vent). Now it won't stay in the vent so I'm looking for a new solution.
