I have bitten through 3 over the counter mouth guards in the same number of weeks. I ordered it after my dentist told me my insurance didn't cover a mouthguard and one would cost me almost $500. I received the mold kit in just a few days, the instructions were easy to follow and the mold cured properly. The only difficulty was removing the mold, which was remedied by shaking the mold to loosen it from the teeth. I submitted the form along with the additional order form they sent you. For $30, they can store your mold for 5 years, allowing you to purchase additional protective covers at a reduced price. Otherwise, they only keep their shape for a few months. I have 3 crowns and a gum gap between my front teeth. Mold and guards didn't matter either. It's significantly more comfortable than over-the-counter safety gates and I no longer drool over the bulky oversized safety gate at night. The protection is perfect for my teeth even though I have a very small mouth. I can put it in and it won't move or fall out. I can even talk to him. It's easy to clean and has only had a few scratches in the last month where my teeth rub. I actually grind my teeth so badly that I had to go to the dentist 4 times in 2 weeks because broken teeth were actually cutting into my mouth and tongue. Since I've been using this protection, I haven't had a single chip. However, it should be noted that this model is designed for grinding and friction, not compression. You have dual soft/hard protection to take care of that. My teeth and jaw still hurt when I wake up from clenching but no more tooth damage. All in all the best $100 I've ever spent (I got a 5 year extension from them to keep my shape). I would highly recommend this mouthguard to anyone who wants a comfortable and durable teeth grinding mouthguard.
