Review on BLACK DIAMOND Rope Bucket Gray by Cameron Reed

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Can't go back I wish it was smaller if folded/folded.

Gone are the days of ropes falling on your legs, anchor lines, behind your neck, etc. The bag has 3 sewn loops at the top, one at the back and one on each side. A carabiner on each side, and you can pull it through two points and insert anti-aircraft rope as you see fit. Or hang it under you by the middle loop and thread a rope through it. The material is durable and can withstand impact. The zipper is good, but it's so much trouble to close it once you've snapped the rope with the zipper down. You have to hit him and hit him back to make him comply, then you can close him easily. The laces are a bit flimsy and often get tangled in whatever you do. The bottom is rubberized so it stands up and keeps its shape, but I really wish I could roll this thing up nice and small and attach it to my seatbelt, maybe with a sewn-on velcro strap or something. The wall is a way of climbing when you already have things on your back (big wall harness, camel back) so carrying those around on your gear loop would be a good idea. For now I fold it as small as possible and put a rubber band on top and it works fine. With all that being said, I can't go back to not using it now.

Pros
  • Climbing
Cons
  • Extendable
