We make a Waldorf and Montessori combo toys and crafts at home so I thought this modeling wax would be perfect for crafts with my daughter. Even after spending almost an hour warming up and working with the wax in our hands, the wax was still too difficult to handle. Since receiving it a few days ago I have sat and warmed up/worked with the wax for hours to no avail; it's still too hard. Instead, I decided to make some play dough with my daughter. I appreciate and understand the concept of intentionally making your handwork, but I found this product frustrating after only a few hours of heating and working as it can't really manipulate it.
