Nice shoes. Feet very happy inside

Appearance: It's not the prettiest hiking shoe, but it's pretty understated. The light blue color around the collar and tongue is eye-catching and comfortable. The extra-long shoelaces are also kept in matching blue. This; However, they look better and are more versatile than many of the glow-in-the-dark colorful shoes offered by New Balance and other companies. Pros: The cushioned insole is removable, making it more comfortable and compatible with custom liners. A soft foam collar and fabric-lined tongue ensure a comfortable fit on long walks. Traditional lacing ensures a secure, adjustable, and snug fit. Cons: Arch support is adequate for low, healthy arches; However, this may not be enough if the person has a high arch or needs extra support in that area. This problem can be easily solved by adding another insole that is more suitable for individual needs. The sole is padded; However, when running/walking on hard surfaces or uneven terrain, heavier cushioning may be preferred. The rubber outsole ensures quiet walking on hard floors. The toe is rounded. Size: I first ordered a half size down which was the recommended size. It came too early for my comfort so I ordered half a size up. Β½ size too small for my grumpy feet. This shoe is a little roomy but allows you to add a heel counter or special arch support. I can also wear thicker athletic socks, which are more comfortable than thin socks on long walks. LACE: Oh my god! Many other reviewers have mentioned long laces. The ones in my shoes were 52 and 53 inches long. Yes, that's not a typo. One tip was an inch longer than the other. I've replaced them with 48" New Balance laces. Perhaps the light blue ones that came with my shoes look better; however, the shorter ones look good and are a lot easier on the eye...and it's MUCH easier to wear when Don't go to stay grounded!Maybe a size 12 shoe with long laces would be happy but I doubt it.My legs are very happy embedded in.In general these are good shoes.I'm on the second pair. The first Pair put about 1250 miles on the treadmill and were still wearable and looking good when they found a new home, however what works for one person's feet may cause pain for another.
