Shoes run true to size. I am 9.5. It's a split sole design and a bit stiff for my comfort. I was expecting a little more movement in the shoe for my style. Knock sounds good. I'm a heavy tapper. If you're an adult just starting out and don't want to spend too much not knowing if you're going to stick with it, these are good shoes. Even if it doesn't fit or you're just not happy with the threading (although I don't know anyone who is unhappy with the threading), you can easily return it yourself for free.
