This is a very well made product! I got it because I wanted something I could quickly take off the car, put on the kayak and toss down the river onto the car. But unfortunately I have a larger hatch (Subaru Forester) that flexes a bit when I tighten the kayak. Unfortunately I can't save this, but I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't. Easy to install, lightweight and seems really safe. Seriously if I thought this product was inferior I wouldn't rate it but I'm very impressed even though I can't use it on my car.
